Do you need the 1 year insurance or just the length of yout trip? I did 90 days and was covered for that

Needs to show a specific amount for Covid and you should check if asymptomatic cases are covered. Sometimes you just have to call them or email and they will forward a policy with the required wording

 you are transferring £ to a £ account or USD euro etc, shouldn't be an exchange rate just a bank charge

Yes you can get $€£¥ accounts, i dont believe they are insured
