TLDR : Answer Summary
The insurance from Luna covers COVID-19, but needs to explicitly state the amount for COVID-19 coverage. Many users suggest confirming that asymptomatic cases are included and that the insurance meets the required coverage amount of 100,000 USD (approximately 3.5 million THB) for travel purposes. Positive experiences indicate that similar certificates were accepted for visa applications and Certificate of Entry processes.

I’ve sent my passport off for the visa, when should I apply for the coe, I fly 20th.

Do you have to download everything at once or can you add forms and save until you complete.

The turnaround from Royal Thai Embassy in London was very quick for me: my CoE request was pre-approved on a Sunday (!) and the certificate issued to me on Tuesday after I had confirmed my flight and ASQ hotel stay on Monday. Service!

The online platform for CoE is quite straightforward. Upload the visa when the passport is received.

There are other boxes to upload insurance, hotel and flight details. Choose the dox, upload and then save just to be sure.

I’ve got exact same insurance certificate from Luna. The $100k Covid cover required is eqB 3.5m. It was accepted for purpose of my STV application and CoE issuance so I’d say no worries!

Needs to show a specific amount for Covid and you should check if asymptomatic cases are covered. Sometimes you just have to call them or email and they will forward a policy with the required wording
