@Paul ******
, I sent them an email yesterday about bank statements and this was their reply to my question - "A longer period of bank balance history is necessary."

@Robert ******
, thank you. And US passport holders don't need to present health insurance and medical certificate if they have a Thai ED visa? We are going to try to enter Thailand through Nong Khai on the 25th or 26th of March..

I am a Philippine passport holder, and we normally can enter Laos on a visa exempt. Any idea if this is not suspended yet?

I am enrolling to a Hand to Hand Combat School. And the school also provided documents. Does my son need to be physically present to apply for a dependent visa?

Ah, so once my 90 days is up and I get to extend it for another 90 days, then he can apply for his dependent visa?

@Ellie ******
, so it means it is possible that I apply for my ED visa first then after a month (once the lockdown in the Philippines is over), I can apply for my son's dependent visa? We don't have to do it at the same time?

@Benjamin *****
, my son is in the Philippines with his dad (my ex husband). I am in Hoi An. Unfortunately, the Philippines is in a lockdown right now, so my son can't fly out of the country. I am planning on going to Vientianne first to try to get my ED visa and once the lockdown is over in the Philippines (April 14th), I will get him and go to Vientianne with him to apply for his dependent visa. I am just confused because the school said I can't apply for a dependent visa for my son once I have already been issued an ED visa. This is why I'm confused. Because I know someone who needed to get a work visa first before he could apply for a dependent visa for his wife and kids. I'm just not sure if the same also works for an ED visa.

@Benjamin *****
, we were paranoid that the mail will get lost, so we opted to just pick it up in Thailand.
