Noticed a funny thing (it’s horrible)

I hold the 500.000 on the same bank on two separate accounts and then one BUT for one months I am… 2000 baht under the 500.000

And that’s all because of the Change rate between baht and euro change !

From what I read on different posts it will depend where you apply, and even that is blurry. Some say Vientiane ask for 6 months but some post about recently transferred money and it’s fine, others say 3 months

6 months with all that money sitting is a little excessive but maybe ask your bank for a letter ? Maybe that will help

L’ambassade française est pas très rapide car petite équipe, un Visa TR c’est déjà presque un mois !

Appelle l’ambassade en étant très sympa ils t’arrangeront les infos, pas forcément sur les délais exact mais ils sont rassurants

What other documents did they ask ?

Was the bank balance in baht ?

While people with more information comes I share with you the answer I got from Embassy in Vientiane

Play it safe, give as much information as possible if you can provide both I would suggest to do it

I wish they told me a little more, here is the list of documents I asked them about and I plan to give on October

List documents

- Passport copy

- Pictures as requested

- Application form

- French Bank documents in English with € currency showing over 500.000+ baht

- Documents from Thai bank for proof of financial stability

Proof of digital nomad :

- Signed Recommandations letters from past and present clients with their passport or ID card as proof

- Portfolio websites

- Letter allowing myself to work remotely

- My resume

- My rental contract in Thailand

- My French Business Registration

- Letter listing all the projects I’ll work on while in Thailand + activities/event

- Cover letter

did you pass at the end ? What other documents did they ask you ? Was the bank statement in euro ?
