this is only for the day you make the initial application for the non O ? (That it has come from overseas etc )- what is required bank wise the day you apply for the 1 year extension ?

ok so it’s not impossible to do like this - I guess the best way to try this would be to apply in Cm ,not change my tm30 until I got an ok from Immigration at Phuket , if Phuket won’t do it I can just fly back to CM and do the extension there

and if I applied for it in CM - you get a 90 day visa first ( non O ) - after which you then apply for a 1 year extension based in retirement correct ?

Do you need to apply for the extension in the same province as the initial visa application

ie If I apply for the non O visa in CM using my CM tm30 And then after 90 days Can I apply for the 1 year extension with a Phuket tm30 from my residence there ?

Or is it better to just apply in CM ( keep the tm 30 in CM ) and fly back up to CM and apply for the 1 year extension ?

you mean apply for a non O in Penang and then apply for the 1 year extension ( based on retirement ) when it expires after being back in Thailand ?

I thought this visa ( when applied for outside Thailand is named a non OA ? ( or am I completely mixing up visas )

I have enough passport pages left for a non O - I just would prefer not to waste 1 page on a tourist visa from Penang if I can come in ( as I normally did before ) on a 30 visa exempt - and get the little stamp etc

So you are saying I definitely need a ticket out ??is proof of my rental agreement ok for accommodations?? ( I have the cash requirements )

Good reasons to come back - I actually live there ( I paid for a 5 year PE visa before ,and want to apply for a non O - hence this trip ( as the non O can’t be applied for From a PE )

Will the immigration officer not be interested in this explanation ???

do different immigration regions differ on 90 day reporting whilst on Covid extensions ?

(I am on my second Covid extension in Chiang Mai and they told me I don't need to do a 90 day report )
