I am applying for a Non O here in Thailand - to be followed by a 1 year extension based on retirement
Are the rules under 8 strictly enforced in Chiang mai immigration re landlord ?
If so will a screenshot of the google map suffice as a copy of location map of house/ condo etc ?( is this something to do with married couples only ๐ค)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is applying for a Non O visa in Thailand, intending to transition to a one-year extension based on retirement. They seek clarification on the enforcement of rules concerning landlords in Chiang Mai immigration and whether a screenshot from Google Maps is sufficient as a location map. Community comments suggest that a hand-drawn map may be preferred by immigration authorities. Additionally, they discuss the necessity of providing landlord details and rental receipts for the application.

To clarify - I am not married and this is the initial Non O application ( not the extension based on retirement (( that hopefully will be done in 3 months ))
Do I need landlord details / 3 months rental receipts etc as per section 8 for my particular application ?
When we did our extension, December 2021, we did the hand drawn map... Chiang Mai didn't want it, gave it back. A friend went a few days later, they wanted the map, hand drawn.
I only know that number 8 is usually something done for marriage extension. Never heard of it for retirement. If you are registered with a TM30 at that office you shouldn't have a problem. 5.3 is also incorrect if applying for an extension of stay.
