If you did the test like I did (comparing how many bahts I get for my bucks between Schwab and Wise for example ), you will see clearly that you get ripped alive as well !! Even with no fee and 220 thb back . The rate is terrible. That’s how they make money. But please don’t believe me: go check and see by yourself .

Wrong. I know personally several Americans and Europeans whom bank accounts has been closed just because they were on DTV. Make a search : you will see plenty of cases about non Russian and non Chinese.

1) Try yourself: do as I did, ask their customer support. They are pretty responsive.

2) If you could deposit with foreign card, I guarantee that Truemoney would be way much more popular than it is right now.

I have True Money. Unfortunately you can only top up and deposit money in TrueMoney using cash at or True shops. Cannot use foreign cards.

True. BUT Elite visa gets you stamped for 1 year everytime you enter Thailand AND allow you to extend for 1 year every year if you want . Unlike DTV which stamp is for 6 months only and allow you to extend only once in 5 years. With Elite visa you can stay inside Thailand for straight 5, 10, 15 years (given the duration of the visa) if you want. It’s impossible with DTV: at some point they want you to leave the Kingdom.
