Hi. I might qualify as you for the wealthy pensioner category. But there is not a lot of infos regarding the nature of the incomes needed (80k USD a year)… Can stocks investment incomes be part of it ? And if it can, what kind : dividends, capital gains ?
For 48h max , no destination can beat Singapore (if you flying from BKK): no visa needed, tons of convenient and cheap flights (direct flights, 2h30 only) delicious and various local food, tons of activities to do as a family (for all ages) like Universal studios and so many others !!! 🇸🇬
1) you only do 90 days reporting when you stay more than 90 days in the Kingdom. And when you do, it takes 1 minute online : super easy and you don’t even have to show up at immigration anymore.
2) once you have paid, there is absolutely no paperwork to show or produce : no health insurance paperwork , no income paperwork, no translated tax return paperwork, no proof of employment etc…
3) Plus I do like the no hassle transfers to and from airports for both international and domestic flights + free lounge access + fast track
If you make 3x the minimum requirement , you can easily afford a 20 years Elite visa … with all the perks and no paperwork. Just the 90 days reports, which you can do online : takes me 1 minute every 3 months.
I’m assuming the author of this post is going to Japan. If you didn’t get 3 shots (2 regular + 1 booster) , you (will) need testing before flying to Japan (will because borders fully open on October 11)
