At Chiang Mai immigration you go upstairs to the 3rd floor. You take their passport along with their TM 6 which is their departure card. You fill out a form and then you get a notification of where they are staying.

I was told this last week at immigration. You can do it aslong as your name is on the rent agreement.

I was told this by immigration.

Someone can please correct me if I am wrong?

I will be doing this on Friday for a friend
