TM30 nightmares. Applying for an extension less than two weeks ago, manger never answered the phone and I managed to get the owner of the room on the phone with immigration, I was fined 800b. A couple of days ago the manager said she will do it whenever I enter back into Thailand. Now that she has looked at the online page and info, she is stating she will NOT do it and suggested I call the owner of the room, whom I have never met and is nearly blind. Owner of the room has no idea of the regulation, yet he spoke to immigration a couple of weeks ago. They are both playing the "I don't know, and don't want to do it card". What should I do? I just returned from Cambodia yesterday.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The author is experiencing difficulties with the TM30 filing process in Thailand. They received an 800 baht fine while trying to extend their visa due to unresponsiveness from their landlord and a lack of knowledge from the property's owner. The comments offer various suggestions such as resolving the issue directly with both parties, filing the TM30 independently if they have the necessary rental agreement, and even considering moving out. There's also advice about the possibility of online submission for future TM30 filings if they meet certain conditions.

NIce stories. The owner is going to it online, but the manager refuse. What you should do, is talk to them both and solve the situation, pay 800 Thb less rent, go rent another place as a few examples. For the other advice giving: Report an address in Bangkok at the Jomtien Immigration Office does not work, Good luck in finding a solution and as with every TM30 topic, I close the commenting. All we know you can read here and if you have any question you can comment on that topic:

I feel your pain dude. I actually had all my paperwork together and still got fined (and also fined for 3 days overstay which immigration advised me to do) because Chaeng Watthana and Samut Prakan immigration don’t know how to read a map. They both just kept insisting I lived in the other jurisdiction and refused to file my paperwork lol. Whole process cost me about 8,000 baht including taxis back and forth and took 9 days. Good luck.

I have appeared in person and paid 800b, how does that get me a password and option to do it online? Going to Bangkok Hospital tomorrow, perhaps they can do it there?
Mitch ********
You can do it online if you've appeared in person at least once and you can also file it at Bumungrad hospital.
Biff *******
So don't do it then. It's a law that you can choose to ignore if you want to. You know the result of that choice.
