I'm in the process of this too, you need to have at least 15 days left on your 30 day visa free stamp. I went last week with 5 days left and they said I'll have to extend by another 30 days then come back in two weeks when I have 15 days left and then apply

I'm not really sure it they are going off it hour by hour but it's best to be safe and not take the chance by making sure you do it 2 days before instead of 3

okay, so what is it that I'm getting? I went the other day and immigration said they are giving me another 30 days, then the 60 days and then at that point my money will have been in for over two months and then they will give me the 1 year extension 🤷
