Yes, but Irina asked for getting a visa without posting 800K. If the agency can do that, they must be taking a shortcut somewhere. It's a question of time until this practise won't work anymore, then you'll be blacklisted. Not a good idea.

Stuart Bromley I get the feeling they want to close certain accounts. I used an agent who set up the account, deposited 800K, never touched it, and assumed it was all legal. By now I know that I should've applied from abroad. - Am now with K Bank, hope it's all good now.

Stuart Bromley That's what I did, then BKK Bank froze my account. After showing paperwork, they unfroze it a month later. I took the 800K out, left 4K. Then they froze it again! Informed me that I need to show a 1 year rental contract. A 3 month contract is not acceptable. Left it frozen, next month I'll get a yearly statement from both banks to extend my visa, then close the BKK Bank account.

Well Terary went to BKK Bank and asked for a statement, was denied, but was offered instead a visa for 25K. So my question (not a statement) is valid, even though it wasn't a 100% serious.

So if they don't give me the 90 day "stamp" I can get a new TM30 right there.
