I leave every 28 days, for 28 days.

This extension of stay takes about that for approval.

Non O multi entry based on marriage to a Thai.

The visa was issued to me on 20 May 2024.

I did include proof of funds, my UK bank statement was fine.

An additional document to the requirements in Laos was a sponsor letter signed by my wife.

This basically said my name and that we are married.

No appointments needed, when it’s done they call you for colllestion.

No queues.

It took 4 days for approval, this was fine as I was staying in Indonesia for 4 weeks.

Out of my applications for this same visa in Vietnam, Laos, UK and Indonesia, and also an extension of stay in Thailand Jomtiem, (I think that’s the name of the visa issued in Thailand) Jakarta was simple.

Not one question asked.

I’ve been in and out the same immigration office in Jomtiem last few days.

I have everything they need for an extension of stay according to the above document.

That have now sent me away again with some shitty bit of paper wanting the condo owners blue book and other irrelevant things from her as per hand written note.

Have you had experience with this before ?
