Its that time of year again for me. The annual trip to Savannakhet for a Multi Entry Non Imm O based in marriage.
Have the required documents changed at all? I believe now 400K baht is required to be seasoned for 2 months?
- Savannakhet specific applciation form
- Two passport photos
- 5000 THB application fee
- Copy of rose-bordered marriage certificate, both sides, signed by wife and me
- Copy of Kor ror 2, both sides, signed by wife and me
- Copy of wife's Thai ID signed by her
- Copy of wife's housebook signed by her
- Copy of my passport biodata page signed by me
- 400K baht in bank statements
I'd also like to ask if the same visa is available at Vientiane Loas with the same requirements. I used to used Savannakhet as the 400K banked funds was not needed, but Vientiane is much closer.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The current requirements for a Multi Entry Non-O visa based on marriage at Savannakhet include the following: 400,000 baht needs to be seasoned in a Thai bank for 2 months, along with specific documents such as the Savannakhet application form, passport photos, application fee, marriage certificate, wife's Thai ID and housebook copies, and passport biodata page. An appointment is now required to visit the consulate. Some comments indicated uncertainty about the availability of this visa in Vientiane, Laos, suggesting that Savannakhet may be more reliable for this type of visa.
