When did you get your full bank account and with which bank?
Travelling ********
@Rosie ****
Then you're one of the lucky few.

Right now it is impossible to open a bank account

No you don't get a bank account. They now come with different reasons every time.

Yesterday at Bangkok bank:

- you need to have two ID's

- You need to get life insurance for 40K baht.

Who is going to pay 1100 USD to open a bank account?!?!

The DTV is worthless. Yes you can stay in the country for 5 years. But...

- extending after 180 days within the country is drama. .

- impossible to get a bankaccount

- this vague tax situation

- still need to do 90 day rapport

The Philippines is starting to look more attractive everyday

Since you are not even able to open a bank account, how are they going to check?

They have no way of knowing how much you made.

Yeah.. You can stay 5 years, but cannot get a bank account

Oh and also you need to leave the country after 6 months otherwise you might be taxed, or not... Who knows?

Again BS: You can have it within 7 working days when you hand over all the documents in 1 go. You and I both had the DTV within 2 weeks. That isn't "a long time".

Strange dude that is contradicting himself..

Just use the Thai e-visa website when in Cambodia. You will have the DTV within 2 weeks

Nonsense. When in Cambodia you can apply via the Thai e-visa website. When you give them all the requested documents you will have the DTV within a week. I missed the employment letter and still had it within 10 days
