Adnan Khairi No it isn't normal everywhere. As an European I can fly to anywhere in Europe without being asked a single question. A 1 second glance at my passport is all I get.

Were all of these on DTV though?! I do not see the connection between the DTV and the crimes committed?

They will get drugs inside of the country without a visa. Call centres were mainly in Myanmar and it were Chinese that were kidnapped

What fraud? What kind of fraud could you possible do with a DTV visa?

So you applied about 11 days ago and stressing a bit already? No reason to, although that message that you got was a bit alarming.

Btw: Is it so bad to stay longer in Bali? (Wish I could go there, but I have a cat)

I agree. I actually think the people are less friendly and the prices are higher than in Cambodia and Vietnam.

Anonymous participant 800 Cambodia: a year without having to do anything

Grenada: Also a year and you're fine

There are plenty of countries where you don't have jump through hoops.

It is also easier in the Philippines

But since I like to switch it up, I am now here. But they are definitely, again, overly bureaucratic.

@Dave *******
yeah let people jump to the same exact hoops they have already jumped through to get the DTV.

This is super unfriendly, and super unwelcoming and unnecessarily overly bureaucratic. Like the 90 day report. They really got a handful of that here.

Anonymous participant 877 Hence the use of "a bit"

And you are not taking in the original amount of about 400 USD.

So yeah, a again: a BIT more than visa runs.
Travelling ********
Anonymous participant 877 Hahaha

1. Cheap visa. You pay way less in other SEA' countries. Especially since many of us won't stay the full 5 years because of the regulations surounding the DTV

2. Costs are not subjective but relative. And compared to other courses this is insanely expensive. You can twist it anyway you like, but your gas lighting doesn't work.
