What should I do if my 90-day Visa reporting was unapproved due to an address mismatch?

my current 30 day ends on the 25th of January. I entered Bangkok on the 19th…. then traveled to Singapore till the 27th. My visa application was rejected( checked wrong box) I returned to Thailand and now have till the 25th! Will I be able to do a “ border run” from Hua Hin to Cambodia and get an additional 30 day visa?

my plan is too return back to California. Visit the thai embassy in “LA” and start all

over again..
