Can I extend my stay in Thailand after entering on a 30-day visa exemption if my application in Singapore was rejected?
my application for an extended visa was rejected here in Singapore.
my 30 day visa expires on the 10th of January. When I enter thailand will
I get an extension? or must I reapply.

When you enter Thailand you get 30 days entry " visa exempt". That's entry with no visa. You can then extend that at Thai immigration for extra 30 days. You don't extend it by going outside of Thailand to embassy. Once you leave Thailand it is finished/cancelled/ended. But you can re enter and get another 30 days Visa exempt ( no visa).

if you’re still in Singapore stay there until next week, then return to Thailand (make sure you have a return ticket). You will get a 30 day visa exempt entry, which you can extend inside Thailand for an additional 30 days. This will get you to the last week of February.If you have a specific date you need to be in Thailand until then time your entry so that date is 60 days away, remembering that the date you arrive is counted as day 1.

If you arrived visa exempt, you will get another one 30days entering again.

No such thing as 30 day visa. You must be talking about visa exempt 30 day stamp on arrival into your passport which can be extended 30 days but only in Thailand

You can not apply for extension outside of Thailand so not surprised it was rejected
