When you go to extend yes if its for soft power you must maintain attendance with school like in ed visa

you will just have to look for yourself school location and what you wish to learn. That's a personal choice

Yes both, however if one is over 50 and the other isnt . .they can apply for dependent visa.

The other route if only one can do it now the other can apply for a Non-O A visa which has income requirements this will help with long term stays such as educational visa help save or build to DTV.

There are many routes to do this if you do not have combined total of 1.6 million baht right now.

Yes you can if you dont have it when you arrive they will pull you aside scan a qr code and fill it out

they are resuming what they put a halt to. They were always doing it just after covid restrictions they stopped proof.of income for tourist visa 20,000 baht for a while they are now resuming it.

Even under visa exempt status they *can* ask you to provide proof of at least 20k equivalent in your currency which is 500$ USD

The agent i work with on alot told me they were resuming this requirement
