Why is there a delay in visa approvals in Hanoi?
Anyone else been waiting for a long time in Hanoi. I was told many applicants got approvals within 5 〜8working days in Hanoi. But it seems it may take longer than that. The wait is killing me

Yeah, the wait can be brutal. Some people get lucky and it’s quick, but others face delays for no clear reason. Just hang in there and try to keep busy—hopefully, you’ll get that approval soon!

My husband's application took a bit longer than usual due to a holiday. He submitted it on a Friday then the following Monday was a holiday. All in all, it took a total of 6 business days but seemed so long due to 2 weekends + 1 holiday.

Right, I have not been requested any additional documents or anything. So I believe that it is still under processing pending approval. But the wait is just killing meCarrie ****
Anonymous participant they requested an additional document from my husband so his clock was reset back to 0. Like you, he was very anxious and impatient especially after everything changed to "pending approval" and he really wanted to leave Hanoi. He had to change his flight once due to needing more time in Hanoi than he originally anticipated.
I hope you get your approval soon!
