Because they wanna learn from somebody who grew up speaking the language, I don’t know why that’s a difficult concept. It’s like, they learn from listening to you and people who don’t grow up speaking English sound different than people who do.
Why is the world racist against dark skin? This is like an old thing that it’s funny because coming to Asia you really kind of learn about how it’s more of a class thing because all all the skin whitening in Korea and all the skin whitening products in Thailand, That being dark skinned is not just an issue in my home country of the United States. It’s an issue apparently all over and has been for a long time.
People have this obsession that if things are white, they are more pure for some reason, it has something to do with purity and upper class system, and a lot of other things besides race it has something to do with a race, but it also has to do with the myriad of other things
I think that once they give you the visa that there isn’t enough needs to babysit you every 90 days.
This is the only country out of eight that I’ve lived in. That requires you to check in with the government.
Thailand is a very interesting place, the people are very nice and welcoming. When I got to the airport. My suitcases were falling off the trolleys and everybody came running to help me and that’s something you just won’t experience in most other places.
That being said, though, there’s a lot of things here for me personally, are just too different for me to retire here forever .
I will probably come and go throughout my life like I lived here for a year a couple of years ago. I’m gonna live here for another couple of years, but then I’ll move onto some other place because the world is always changing and I like seeing other things.
Not every place is built for everybody, but I think Thailand is probably a lot safer than Mexico is …
so there’s a very fine line with the content creation because technically you’re not supposed to be making money in the country or off of the country, you’re supposed to be working offshore.
If your content is about Thailand, like the guy who kept getting denied, most likely they would deny you under the rules, but there’s always people that get by or whoever is checking it doesn’t think about it.
But the thing is at any time because the rules of the visa state that you cannot do business with Thai entities or basically Thailand and you’re supposed to be working offshore and they catch you making money off of YouTube videos from whatever in Thailand they have the right to revoke the visa.
Yes, I know somebody who promotes real estate they promote hotels. They promote everything all over this country and they are on this visa, and they are breaking every rule possible.
But they don’t use their real name, so whenever they stop paying off the immigration officer that I’m sure they’re paying off in Phuket, or that person goes to jail or whatever happens then they’re probably out of this country.
But technically, and legally, you’re not really supposed to have your main income source be derived from Thailand, which I’m sure you understand but the video creation falls under that if you’re earning revenue from YouTube or Instagram or whoever .
In my case, I were completely offshore, but if I post videos of Thailand, to promote my business in the United States and I do not have any Thai customers and I do not do business with any business in Thailand. I think that is OK as long as I’m not profiting off of the video itself..
