I am supreme court lawyer, a remote consultant, content creator on tiktok, facebook and youtube. Only my tikok followers are almost 200K and facebook is about to cross 100K. I recently visited thailand and my revenue was much better than my home country Pakistan.
I have applied for DTV with all documents and financials etc with screenshots of my social media but since 20th April, 2025 there is no response whatsoever. My plan was to visit on 25th May and up till now documents check is only shown on the portal.
Shall i wait and cancel my upcoming plans?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A supreme court lawyer from Pakistan has applied for a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) to Thailand but has not received any updates since April 20, 2025. He plans to visit Thailand on May 25 but is uncertain whether to cancel his trip due to the lack of response on his visa application. Commenters suggest that he should wait in Pakistan until his visa is approved to avoid complications, as well as advise against traveling until he has clarity on his application status.
Cancel your travel plans and stay in Pakistan until you receive your visa. When you enter Thailand, you must complete the TDAC, which may be viewed by the consulate officials. They will then know that you are no longer in Pakistan but in Thailand, and this could cause problems. In the worst case, they might even reject your visa application
If you are a successful practicing supreme court lawyer in Pakistan you would be living like a king there. Contact the embassy that you applied for the DTV surely a supreme court lawyer would be able to navigate this DTV application instead of asking here 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Search for other posts about applications from Pakistan. I am pretty sure it was said the approval had to be made in Bangkok and not locally - that is why it may take longer.
He likely meant that he’s licensed to practice before the Supreme Court in Pakistan. that’s a way of showing high professional status, not that he works for the court itself. It’s just a title to show he’s a senior or experienced lawyer.
