i doubt that immigration will allow you METV consecutively and close to each other but you are free to try 🙃 🙂 🙃 I want to see somebody who really cares, Mister Mordue

a problem might arise when your bank needs a full week to supply the 12-month statement. The clock will start running!

That's why this year I will visit my immigration office Sisaket three (!) weeks ahead of the expiry of my extension.

Because my SCB local branch can't supply a 12-month statement on the same day, they can only print the "bank letter of guarantee" showing the recent 2 or 3 months on the same day.

They need to get the 12-month statement from their headquarters. Some banks can print the 12-month statement on the same day.

So I strongly advise to ask your bank how long they take, so you know how early or how late you can show up for your next application to the extension

well, then all he needs is a proof the money came from abroad, and a minimum of 15 workdays left on his "admitted stay" stamp in order to be allowed the application for the change. Plus a completed TM30, plus a rental contract . . . .

it can be done with a visa-exempt plus ONE 30 days extension, for sure. It's tight ended, but it is possible

allow me a small correction: there is no seasoning required for the 800.000.-THB when applying for the 90-days visa. However a 2 months seasoning is required when you apply for the change from the visa to the 1-year Extension of Stay

. .and Immigration often during an application, will make a copy of your passport pages, regardless if you supplied them with an embassy certified document or not

Now I found it. (new!) rule says "no more than three times in a 6 month period by flights" . . . . . . . . .Foreigners who enter Thailand under this Tourist Visa Exemption category may only do so for 30 days at one time with a maximum of 3 times in a 6 month period by flight and 2 times a year for overland crossing.

@Brian ********
it is officially documented, however I cannot find it 😃😎😃

I would however NOT trust the word "unlimited", because if you try that a THIRD consecutive time, you might face being pulled aside and being told "Last time, next time you need a proper visa"
