Hello i have some questions about the visa run and visa extension and i hope you can help☺️

I live in Thailand and im from denmark. 2 months ago i went to Malaysia and got extended for 1 month, then 1 month ago i went to krabi to extend again for 1 month. Now i have to extend again before the 4 th. So do you guys know if i can extend again in krabi? Or do i have to leave the Country?

I read somewhere online that you can extend again and get 7 days, but im not sure about the rules.

Thankyou🌸

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is an expat from Denmark living in Thailand who has extended their visa multiple times and is seeking advice on whether they can extend their stay again in Krabi or if they must leave the country. Responses indicate that extending in Krabi might not be possible and suggest that the user is likely misusing the visa exemption system, which could result in being denied entry if they continue to re-enter after brief trips abroad. Multiple community suggestions encourage finding a more suitable long-term visa option or using a border run service for additional time.

How long have you been in Thailand in total over the past year? less than 6 months. If so, easily get another 30+30 days stay by using one of the Thailand Border run companys that take you to one of the borders and get you processed out and back in the country. Beyond that you should be looking at a longer term visa. Another possible option would be to be living in two countries in the area for 1-2 months at a time and alternating between them if Thailand isn't a must for you.

Even if you get another 7 days extension, after that you still have to leave Thailand. You can continue doing that till immigration reject your entry. Immigration will reject your entry once they find out you are abusing the system.

you cannot do 30-days visa-exempt entries and their 30-days extensions forever. At some point at the border they will refuse entry, because you are misusing the 30-days visa-exempt route for a longstay. You need a different plan. You could start studying Thai language, this will get you 15 months, however you will have to attend classes physically as Immigration is going to test your fluency in Thai. Yearlong language courses start at 40,000.- THB

If you live in Thailand, how come you are doing exemptions? Why don't you have the proper visa?

du kan gå i skole, hvis du seføli har lyst, så kan du søge et studievisa. Prøv at undersøg det, det er ikke så strikse krav ☺️

If you LIVE in thailand then you need a proper long term visa. 30 days visa exempt isn't the right option.

Some offices may let you apply for a 7 day extension. Some may not. It’s best to leave the country if you can as the “extension denied” stamp of 7 days is the same price of 1,900 baht.
