I know. You have to stay in Laos or Vietnam until the Non-Imm-O visa is approved. But this still would be a "visa run", not a border run. A "border run" is a border bounce and it means you don't apply for a visa in the country you visit and re-enter Thailand coming from it
I would only risk the next visa-exempt entry by mid November, if you have the three famous proofs ready to show: onward travel, accomodation booked and 20,000 THB equivalent in cash. However as Graham correctly mentioned - arriving on a 90-days Non-Imm-O visa is by far the better option. Nobody will force you to apply for the one-year extension
for the application through an embassy e-visa system to the initial 90-days Non-Imm-O visa, the 800,000 THB equivalent can be in any account as long as it is in your name. Only for the application to the 12-months extension on Immigration, a minimum of 800,000 THB need have have "seasoned" in a Thai bank account in your sole name for a minimum of 2 months
well, flying would be a border run if you return right after to re-enter Thailand visa exempt. However if you plan to apply for a 90-days Non-Imm-O Retirement Visa in Vietnam, it will be called a "visa run"
non, ce n'est pas possible sur un DTV car c'est un ยซ type de visa touristique ยป... mais vous pouvez demander au propriรฉtaire de ce groupe, qui est un agent de visa, s'il peut le faire pour vous.
"was"? How long ago was your experience? The whole scenario changed by February 2025. You can't get a bank account opened any more since. And many agencies do not have the means or connections to bypass the new regulations. Even in Thailand, agencies and tea-money got limits
the owner of this group is a visa agency. They will only get a bank account opened for somebody on a touristic entry, if he buys the complete package - bank account, change to 90-days Non-O visa and 12-months extension. The price for this package starts at 55,000 THB. . . . I still highly doubt that Cambodia Visa does the same for free ๐๐๐๐๐๐
you need to find a government approved cooking school. There are a few of them in Bangkok, they even advertise in the internet. You will find out they are a bit expensive. And you need to prove 3 months of a minimum of equivalent of 500,000 THB in your bank account
no, there is nothing that can get transferred. Immigration can only transfer their own stamps. A DTV is an embassy-issued document or sticker and Immigration has nothing to do with it
