How can I open a bank account in Thailand as a foreigner married to a Thai national?

Try K Bank, take your wife with you. Blue Housebook if she owns house, or rental agreement, your passport her ID and some cash as deposit. I did this with my GF , now wife, on a 30 day tourist visa. Just keep trying different Banks if you dont succeed first time around. Good Luck.

There has not been a single case of C19 reported for over 2 months now. The only cases reported are returnees in Quarantine.

Why then cant expats run?

The C19 card cant be played, so that cannot be the reason?

Stuart, James is correct, go to a K Bank, with your girl friend, her ID and your Passport, and your cash of course. Open a Savings Account (Easiest) and they will give you an ATM card.

I did this at K Bank no probs.

I Did my 1st in person to CW and subsequent reports by mail.

Just asking, as in person reports are now done at MTT.
