so what’s the case if you hold a UK passport but not been back for over 2 yrs? Entry declined based on passport?

The quarantine won’t stop soon as it constitutes revenue also, much needed injections of funds....

Just another government devised rip off to the unsuspecting tourist who has no idea of the rules in thailand. As and when it comes to a debate I envision multiple drivers crowding the tourist and bully tactics coming into effect.

Easier to simply add 50 baht to the standard airport pickup and end the confusion... but that’s not the Thai way is it.

I took my wife back to Scotland 2 yrs ago and she was astounded that I didn’t cuss once while driving the entire visit. Couldn’t believe how courteous drivers were and how “easy” it was to drive during rush hour.
