For unknown reasons, the immigration officer at BKK airport sent me to a higher-level officer, with mild surprise from both of them. But no issues other than the extra time it took there and having to run to make my flight to CNX. As
Uhm, just a few months ago I went out of the country during the under consideration period and was back by the day I had to get the stamp for the rest of the year - no problems. The re-entry permit was only good while my visa was still current - i. e. the under consideration period. This was Chiang Mai. I suggest asking your immigration office.
No. Is there a reason why I should have? The Fang office doesn't care. And I extended my visa for a year at the Chiang Mai office. Just received my 11 month stamp feom there at the end of December and I am sure at least one hotel did a TM.30 report last year before my visa was extended. It's been the same every time I extended my current visa (now on my 3rd extension) and I have been living at my wife's house the whole time.
