Heads up for folks in Chiangmai applying for a 60 day extension based on marriage to a Thai.
I applied for the extension today and we were asked for our Kor Ror 2 which is the marriage registration. I wasn't expecting that. Note that this is different from the Kor Ror 3 which is the rose-bordered marriage certificate and is also required for the extension.
I wanted to point this out because the Kor Ror 2 was not included in a recent post that listed the documents needed at Chiangmai Immigration for this extension.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shared an important update for expats in Chiang Mai regarding the application process for a 60-day extension based on marriage to a Thai national. They found out that the Kor Ror 2, which is the marriage registration, is required for the extension application, along with the Kor Ror 3, the rose-bordered marriage certificate. This detail was not mentioned in a previous post listing necessary documents.
