I am currently on a one year extension based on marriage to a Thai and in about 3 weeks I will apply for the same extension at Chiang Mai using a 400k baht security deposit as evidence of income. May I ask, please: have the requirements for documents to submit changed over the past year? (I live about 3 hours away from the city and have no plans to visit before I apply so I cannot check at the immigration office myself and they haven't answered their phone.)
The image shows the required documents list at Chiang Mai Immigration Office from November last year.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about potential changes to the document requirements for a marriage-based visa extension at the Chiang Mai Immigration Office, specifically concerning a security deposit of 400,000 baht as proof of income. They mention they are currently on a one-year extension and due to distance, cannot visit the office to verify the latest requirements. Comments from others suggest that documentation like a new Kor Ror 2 may now be required and emphasize keeping banking documents updated.
make sure your bank letter is no more than 7 days old, that you update the bank book on the date you show up for the extension.
Also if you were married inside thailand many offices are now requiring you get a new Kor Ror 2 <- which you & your thai wife can get printed get at any Amphur for 20 baht.
I'm not Kirstin but Fang is an amphoe & town in the north part of Chiang Mai. There's an immigration office [edit: a real, government immigration office with police officers, etc.] in the town but they are mostly oriented towards folks from Myanmar.
Hi Kirstin - Unless something changed recently - and I'd be very surprised if it did - Fang immigration office does not do this extension. They can do 90 day reports and I vaguely remember that I visited them for something else but mostly it will be Chiang Mai.
Ah it is only 90 day reports and tm30 I've used them for. Thanks for the info! And I am on the same extension and that's what I needed in CM, but it was in January so might be out of date. Good luck!
