If you are over 50 just apply for a one year OA visa in your home country?

I just flew in a week ago. Day # 8 of ASQ.

You should rent a car or minibus to take you wherever you have to go. You will have all the correct paperwork after ASQ. I also assume that you will have been vaccinated in your home country.

Your wife is another matter

Don't put her through all the hassle of getting to Bangkok and then the probable even bigger hassle of getting back to your home province.

Have her welcome you at home!

The only one I didn't have was the printed boarding pass.

I just arrived in BKK three days ago and the only flight that was of any interest whatsoever at the checkpoints ( and there was many of them ) was the one that entered Thailand. Remember to keep a paper copy of your boarding pass as my mobile copy caused a little confusion.

Quite correct. I just checked the Thai Embassy website in Washington DC and it states that you do not need one.

Is this confirmed? It is still on the Thai Consulate Los Angeles website as required.
