45days, interesting , i plan to enter thailand in october but maybe they will extend it, however, i'm liking the tourest visa for now then do the non-O visa in thailand

Visa exempt would't work, i think, as i'll be in quarantine for 15days of my 30day visa exempt (assuming i still only get 30 days)

However a tourest visa may be the way to go.

thanks Tod, i wasn't exspection the hospital in/out patiant insurance requirentment, i was surprised.

However, i know about the Covid insurance requirement.

just one question, is the process in chiang mai easy for getting the Non-O visa?

Late i heard was that only bangkok could do it, but that was a few years back

James Miller i have a non Thai wife and child.

Currently im in new zealand, thus thats why i'm thinking of getting Non"O" visa while here. (Wife is Korean)

mid September we fly to korea,

I will stay only 2-3weeks, then i go to Thailand.

Wife and baby will follow in 2-3 months, mean time she will sort out her required paperwork(more questions on that latter)
