My Thai wife and I will be arriving in Thailand on December 4th. I am in the process of getting my Non- Immigrant O 90 day visa. Can I get a 30 day extension if we decide to stay a little longer? Will I need the standard $50,000 US dollar Covid insurance? I read somewhere I would need 100,000 since it was over 30 days. Seems like every website is a little different. Thanks in advance.
O-Visa for retirement, obtained outside Thailand, i understand this will give me 90days then i apply for the longstay visa based on retirement when in thailand
Is it correct that i need medical insurance for this visa? Originally i thought having an O-Visa you don't need insurance but you do with an O-A visa
This is the reply i received from the thai embusy in NZ, maybe i misundertand it. See below
"As beginning 31 October 2019 applicants for non-immigrant type "O-A" Long stay and “O” retirement visas are required to have a health insurance with minimum coverage of 40,000 THB/year for outpatients "
Hi I’m hoping to come back to Thailand in the very near future,I had a none immigration O visa since 2018 I got caught up in the lockdown when visiting the U.K. could you please tell me what are the financial requirements for reapplying for the O visa, and can I use 90 day insurance or do I need 12 months. Thanks
The advantage of having the STV is the COE application can be completed in minutes, passport came back within 4 days also. All in all, great service from the London embassy.
All thats needed now is covid test and F2F >>> I apologise as ive asked this before, but like to know where people are getting their RT-PCR Covid tests from? ideally those travelling from north west England?? Ive found one for £145 but adamant I can get it cheaper.
