Mr 5 Bank Accounts you still either have to leave after 180 days or apply for extention which is a lot of hassle to do, yes you can come straight back in but that doesn't stop it from being a tourist visa, not everyone does ,

Mr 5 Bank Accounts still a tourist visa and only get stamped in 6 months at a time

same and once I gave my Thai drivers license details, I got it with no restrictions

Firstly it’s a 60 day visa exemption, (means no visa for up to 60 days).

immigration don’t require onward travel, it’s the airlines that do, some are strict about it more than others
