So many people think you can still do border runs, I also got pulled up after my 2nd run, I now have the dtv.

It does not matter at all.

It would be a problem if you were doing vsa exemption runs. Otherwise you have done the right thing with the dtv

I would be concerned about you working and living in Thailand on the wrong visa.

That will be your issue if you have one imo,

While loads of people have done it, they don't show a thai bank account receiving work funds while on a tourist visa.

 great, im still deciding if I'll do a run at 180 days if I still have all the required documents, I'll keep an eye out for other people's experiences

The 1st 90 days you report where you are living, the reason for leaving at 180 days is a separate report.
