Don’t have any experience flying with EVA, but formally an onward ticket is required within the days you’ll get stamped in for at the immigration. At the Thai embassy in London’s website is stated that a bus ticket is sufficient. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs requires an “air ticket paid in full” and the Royal Thai Police Immigration requires “such as an airplane ticket.
I know several people are allowed boarding with a bus ticket without any issues, some are allowed after some discussion, but I’ve also seen some feedbacks of people denied check in only with an onward bus ticket.
Formally you'll don't need a return ticket, but a ticket out of Thailand within 60 days if you enter on visa exemption. Travelling from US without checking this further up is sort of gambling.
Ok, six months multiple entries tourist visa then, but it still only gives you 60 days upon entry and you can apply for a 30 days extension at your local immigration.
If you have a tourist visa it only gives you 60 days upon entry, 90 days is only related to the visa's validity days after issue. You’ll not be asked for the purpose of your visit.
This is not correct. There’s no formal requirement regarding seasoning in the general requirements for a DTV. At some embassies you’ll only need to have the required funds in your bank at date when you apply, some require bank statements for 1-6 months for to apply, but you’ll don’t need to do seasoning after the visa is issued.
Check it further out as Bob and Brandon states. I know it has been done with borrowed money and here at the embassy in Washington DC as an example it says; “A copy of a recent saving or checking bank statement with an ending balance of no less than 500,000 THB or ($16,000 USD) that shows the applicant's name and date.”
yes, onwards ticket within 60 days is rarely checked at the immigration, but your airline might require it and they control this from time to time and you’ll never know when.
Then he has to time it a little bit, a Non O visa is valid for 90 days after it’s issued and gives you 90 days when you enter (within 90 days) without any mandatory flight ticket requirements.
Disagree, a 90 days Non O visa gives you 90 days without any extension in Thailand at £ 60.
If you enter on a 60 days visa exemption you’ll need to pay £ 43 for a 30 days extension and you’ll also need to provided an onward ticket out within 60 days even though you’re going to apply for an extension later. And you’ll don’t need to use or waist any time during your holiday to apply for an extension at the immigration.
