There’s no official limit on visa exemption by air, but people get pulled aside and questioned quite fast now. They are cracking down on longer stays and people travelling in and out of Thailand without visa or tourist visa. Several feedback over a longer period of time confirms this. This is another example. On their third entry by air they were told to get a visa next time.

You can as explained only extend your visa exemption one time and get additional 30 days on your visa exemption. The only visa you can apply for in Thailand is a Non O visa. So if you want to stay for 60 more days in Thailand after your exemption runs out, you don’t have any other options then get another 30 days visa exemption.

I guess you mean border run, but yes as mentioned someone posted feedback some days ago that a border run Ranong was quite smooth and straightforward.

The correct answer is that its not a correct answer as some of the 88 immigrations in Thailand will accept a joint venture account and some other will demand two separate accounts. If you plan to switch to the income method for your second year extension of stay, you’ll anyway need to prove twelve consecutive transactions to two individual accounts during your first year extension of stay.

Agree, without any doubt the best option 👍

If you don’t get questioned for something else by the immigration, they most certainly just will stamp you in on a 30 days visa exemption. It’s anyway convenient to apply for a 60 days tourist visa before you come. Normally this also is cheaper and you don’t need to use time at the immigration to get an extension.

You can apply for a six months multiple entries tourist visa in the first place. This gives you opportunity to stay up to nine months in Thailand. You can also apply for a one year Non O-A visa with your bank at home. This gives you up to two years in Thailand. Health insurance, health certificate and a statement from the police regarding criminal records is mandatory.

And Indians on a regular tourist visa or this temporary visa exemption is entitled to a 30 days extension on general conditions. When they arrive on the regular 15 days visa on arrival, they’re only entitled to or get a 7 days extension denied stamp, which is no real extension but just a time to leave the county on same conditions as someone who as an example mistakenly tries to get a second extension on a regular tourist visa or visa exemption.
