If you've already got your 'under consideration' stamp, just your passport. I've never been asked for the blue slip. That's because they won't give you an under consideration stamp without the 1900baht payment already being made. Maybe take it, just be be on the safe side. Different offices have different expectations.

in chimag mai, you get the extension from the day you apply, not when your previous visa /extension expires.

1. I've done 2 covid extensions at Chiang Mai Immigration near the Airport.

No Embassy letter required.

2/Copy of TM30 or copy of TM30 slip attached in passport is required.

This should have been done /obtained within 24 hours of arriving at your accommodation. Your landlord should have done it. If you turn up for you covid extension it's most likely will be declined without a TM30 and you may cop a fine for it not being done.

There are 3 different forms to fill in for the covid extension, plus a photo is needed and copy of passport pages +1900baht.

Just go to the photo/copy shop at the rear of the main Immigration building near to Chiang Mai airport and pay 100 baht for 4 photos.

As part of your 'unable to travel due to covid' application, you will need to submit a copy of this TM30 slip.

better still, file the TM30 yourself if your immigration office allows the tenant to do this. Then you know its been done. I've been doing this for the past 4 years.

There is no visa on entry (45 days). There is a free visa exemption entry for visitors from certain countries for 45 days and I assume that's what you are coming in on.

These can be extended for an additional 30 days.

After I entered on a 60 day tourist visa in May 2021, I was informed by Immigration that I had to apply and pay for the 1900THB 30 day visa extension first and only after obtaining this visa could I apply for a 60 day 'unable to travel due to covid extension', despite the covid extension being in existence at that time.

If Immigration doesnt extend the covid extension for a further 2 months beyond 27 Sept which is what is being rumoured, you will be res[rice's to 45 days + 30. If you wanted to stay beyond that, the only options available would be to apply for an alternative visa such as an Ed visa upon your arrival.

If I'm on a TR visa that expires on 14 July, can I apply for a covid extension on or before this date first, instead of applying for the usual 30 day extension? If so, can I then apply for my 30 day extension just before my covid extension stamp expires?
