My 60+30 day SETV expires soon and I'm leaving for 3 weeks and then returning on another SETV. I have rented a room in a hotel for 6 months in total and will return to the same room (will leave most of my stuff in it). My question is upon my return, is it my responsibilityto do a TM30 or can the Hotel? If it's me, can I ask the hotel to do it or do I have to go to Promenada?
TLDR : Answer Summary
When returning to Thailand after a short trip on a SETV, the responsibility for filing the TM30 can typically fall to the hotel where you are staying. Many hotels and guesthouses handle the TM30 registration process for their guests automatically, as required by Thai immigration rules. However, it's advisable to confirm with your hotel whether they will manage this for you or if you need to take any additional steps yourself.
