I'm currently in Vietnam and will apply for a DTV here. I intend to apply via the soft power Muay Thai option.

I will only have had the GBP equivalent of 500k THB in my primary account for 1 month prior to my application.

I can also show a monthly UK sourced income of the equivalent of 45000 THB per month. I'm not sure if this would benefit my DTV application in any way.

Would a 3 month UK bank statement showing the 500k THB for just 1 month be enough to satisfy the requirements in Vietnam?

Prior to this the money was scattered across different accounts and in investments.

Has anyone had a DTV approved in Vietnam with the money only showing present for 1 month?

Read the website of the desired Thai Embassy for the required length of time, the 500.000 Baht should have been in the bank, it varies from 1-6 months depending on embassy.

One month should be fine for HCMC, they will ask for bank statements from the last 6 months and proof of income. I would advise to initially supply what is asked, they will ask for further documents at day 2 or 3. Just have them ready to upload.

Had mine in my account for more than one month. However, on the income, HCM did ask me for bank statements showing the income highlighted. So that's worth including.

It's also worth including photos of all pages of your passport, or have them to hand.
