People like the oppersites, its why white people put themselves through much more dangerous levels of UV to try to be darker. Mostly it's this reason, they often find white skin more attractive throughout all of asia. They like Japanese and Korean fashion. The adverts really hasn't helped them as they obviously want to sell there product, wightening can be expensive

But also it's a status thing. It wasnt so long ago in England that people who were tanned were the poorer people working outside in the fields and people with status would try everything to wighten their skin. Same as Thailand today

Yeah I get it, it's just ironic ain't it lol I've travelled around the country and it doesnt surprise me that desease come from and spreads easily there. Everyone else suffers and they are rewarded 🙈 I know everyones different but it's a bit annoying
