These are what was needed if you have the 400k. I'm sure Todd will correct it if anything is wrong or missing. Especially for number 11

1) Visa Extension Form (TM.7)

2. Passport or Travel Documents

3. Non-Immigrant Visa (this was the 90 day multiple entry I got outside Thailand and allowed me to come in for 90 days and then leave)

4. Marriage Certificate including the 2nd Page (I forget what it's called)

5. Thai wife's ID Card

6. House register of Thai wife

7. Children's Birth Certificate ( Not needed but I go loaded up)

8. Letter from Thai Bank certified money in thai account (Alien's Name) more than

400,000 Baht 2 months before, bank book and ATM slip on date of application

9. Map to Home (I just printed out Google map)

10. Family Photo (silly photos outside residence, on sofa and sat on bed etc.

11. I'm not sure about this one but I think Medical Insurance. I took along my policy copies.

. Needed to show funds of 400k in my Thai bank account, banked for 2 months prior to the application for an extension of stay. Obviously, need all the other paper work such as marriage certificate and others..... Then after I was granted the one year extension to stay, I no longer have to leave the country and just do my 90 day reporting.

Long term effects are you will be able to travel to places like Thailand without quarantine.

There was a hospital advertised a couple of months back at 10,000 bht but they had to remove that advert as nothing had been approved.
