the e-visa application website specifically tells you to print out and present the paper upon entry and to airlines if requested. The embassy told me as much at the end of my interview. Your circumstances are not great advice to the average recipient. Especially let's say the police stop you and want to see your visa, all you'll be able to provide is an entry stamp.

In your case, if using your husband for sponsorship you'd need marriage certificate, and likely a million baht in his bank account, even though he's not a DTV user, he's having to support 2 people. Pick a nearby embassy that only requires 3 months of the funding requirements. Bottomline is you need to present a believable stable financial situation.

sponsorship letter requirement also includes stating the relationship. Typically this would be direct family members, in some cases I've heard about an employer, but I haven't heard how successful that application was.

You can include a brief cover letter explaining that you have been traveling for the last little while and intend to restart work, and maybe show your income pre-traveling. Suggest you also provide a portfolio and maybe some of your previous work contracts

Take photos of all your pages and then use I love PDF for free online to merge them all into one document

It's the airline that can refuse you boarding if you don't have a long term visa and plan to enter visa exempt. So, contact your airline and ask. Immigration in Thailand won't question you on this if you're an occasional visitor.

the way you relay your situation is ambiguous. You say you're already living in Bangkok, you say you're on a tourist visa, but that you are in America. You still haven't answered what was your proposed entry date into Thailand on your application? Processing times are reset when further documents are requested and received.

Members, there is a huge distinction in the wording used for an application that fails.

Cancelled.... usually means incorrect data

Rejected.... usually means incomplete/insufficient application documents

Refused.... possibly means ineligible applicant (I can't recall if I've seen this word used in the email)

on the application it asks for proposed your arrival date and method. I'm confused, did you get your visa and return to Thailand using it, or did you return to Thailand before it was issued?
