Hi. This is probably a dumb question to you guys but i have concerns.
This is my first time traveling out of Thailand for a few days. When I arrive back do I have to present my DTV confirmation printout page or is it just in the system and I can just show my passport?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When re-entering Thailand, it is generally recommended to present a printed copy of your DTV (Digital Visa) confirmation along with your passport. Many users have reported that immigration officers expect to see this printout and advise making multiple copies to avoid issues. While some have successfully entered the country by only showing their passport, it is safer to carry the printout as airlines may also check for it, and having a physical copy can help avoid complications with immigration.
I have never shown a printed copy. The first time I entered with the DTV, I told the Passport Control officer I had the DTV, he entered it in the computer, stamped it in, and was finished. The next time I entered they asked for my address. Have never shown anything other than my passport.
nice for you, but completely irrelevant here. Not playing by the rules, often will work, but what would you do when the officer just asks for the printed copy.
I HAVE a printed copy that I keep with me. My point is that I have not NEEDED it, nor BEEN ASKED for it. I AM “playing by the rules”, and I AM relevantly answering the OP’s question.
So when you have the printed copy, why not just hand it over together with the passport as it is meant. That is more efficiënt for you and for the IO. The fact that it also might work when yo do not hand over the printed copy is not relevant, because you cannot trust it might work this way, and as such it is not a good answer. The only correct answer to the OP's question is that he should hand over the printed copy together with the passport and that not doing so, sometimes might work and sometimes might not work. And presenting a printed copy is not difficult, so I don't understand why some people try to prevent showing it. Why don't you try to do the same with your passport? Only tell IO you have a passport? I really don't understand the fun of this game with IO.
you MUST have a printout of your DTV visa and present it with your passport unless you want to make IO get angry ......why headache?

You need print copy even if immigration will not ask, airlines may ask so you dont need to have flight out ticket from Thailand. You can laminate 1 copy and it will last till the visa expire 🙂
sure you have the right not to follow the instructions, but remember the IO has the right to refuse your entry in the country. All up to you if you want to gamble with that, but please don't advice others to ignore instructions.

It’s your visa. Print it and show it to the immigration officer

You must present the page the immigration officer specifically told me every time I come into Thailand I have to present the page. I made 10 to 15 copies of that thing just to be sure I’d have them almost everywhere I am.

OptimisticSeahorse231 should not have to and I didnt need to do it last time. Its in their system allready. All you need when Re-enter is passport.
evisa has nothing to with the way you present it, it only tells the application was online, and instructions onbthe website tell to print it out, but obviously some people just don't follow up instructions because they have a strong own opinion that tells them to try things different.
the e-visa application website specifically tells you to print out and present the paper upon entry and to airlines if requested. The embassy told me as much at the end of my interview. Your circumstances are not great advice to the average recipient. Especially let's say the police stop you and want to see your visa, all you'll be able to provide is an entry stamp.
