We are in the process of relocating to Thailand and I have my own online business and for the time being, I will keep it here in Canada.

We also still own a home here so Canada will continue to be our residency for tax purposes.

Remember that online work is not permitted in the kingdom so hopefully the new DN visa will make it a bit easier for some people. Iโ€™ve heard more info is coming out end of June - early July.

You can also check out Shelter Global for a way to work legally in Thailand. Comes at a cost - but better than deportation ๐Ÿ˜

Hope this helps a bit ๐Ÿ˜Š

I would pick one account and do 3 months - but Iโ€™m just guessing - I have no idea if that is the correct answer lol. The one that matches the name on your application and passport ๐Ÿ˜Š

I can only comment on the issue of the 1 file โ€ฆ.

If you can only upload 1 document - download your 3 bank statements then go to โ€œI love PDFโ€ ( should come up when you google it) where you can merge all 3 statements into 1 PDF. Download the merged one and upload that. I donโ€™t know about the other problems - but thought maybe the merging would help with the upload ๐Ÿ˜Š

I usually use TruGo. Havenโ€™t had a claim so canโ€™t comment on that part but it was very affordable. I get it through my local insurance provider.

I live in Canada and applied for my TR at the Thai consulate in Canada while I was in Canada. However, I arrived in Thailand coming from Germany and still applied at the Thai consulate in Vancouver. They advised me to do so but did ask to see my ticket showing that I was arriving from Germany. Hope that helps :)

I wish I could be that kind LOL!! But I booked them economy seats - like I said, they are young ๐Ÿ˜‚FOR ME - I would book business for sure. :)

I booked this flight for my son and girlfriend. - Dec 18. They are young so theyโ€™ll survive but I agree - premium economy at the very very minimum for me ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Happy about the red eye tho - theyโ€™ll be tired and easier to sleep and early morning arrival in BKK so easy to transit to final destination.

Not a bad itinerary at all ๐Ÿ˜Š

A fabulous itinerary for those flying business ๐Ÿ˜Ž

We submitted our visa on Nov 6 and today I called the consulate (Vancouver) just asking if they need anything, if anything is missing etc. He said to send an email and after 15 minutes we had our visas.

Might be worth giving your consulate a call - you just never know ๐Ÿ˜Š
