Some DLT offices require a long stay visa such as a Non-O so if you are in a province that requires this the answer would be no.

Why wouldn't a residency certificate from Immigration work?

@James ***********
you will not get your first 12 month extension that way and, if on a marriage Non-O, may never get an extension using that method at many Immigration Offices

@Malcolm ****
better to exit before the end of this extension and re-enter to start afresh with a new Non-O

@Jeff ******
The current extension will be invalid without the 800k for 3 months and 400k for the rest of the year plus starting the 65k now would only generate 11 deposits before the current extension expires. The OP will need to do a border bounce to end this extension and start with the Non-O again.

@Malcolm ****
If you go 1 Baht below 800k in the next 2 months your extension is void as you failed to meet the requirements. Know any good solicitors?
Graham ******
@Malcolm ****
So withdraw 400k on two different days in cash and deposit it immediately in your new account (if you're more than 3 months into your extension)
Graham ******
Are you still in the first 3 months of your extension? If not, you can transfer 400k to your new bank then, the following day after receipt of the first 400k transfer the second 400k. Make sure then don't impose the 50k transfer limit because it is they are closing your account so it should be your choice how you do it.
