I went to submit my TM47 today to Sa Kaeo immigration in Aranyaprathet. I had all my copies of the required documents signed and ready plus my 1900B. After 30 minutes I was leaving with my 30 day extension stamped in my passport not the Under Consideration I expected. I entered visa exempt on 18-Jul via the Phuket Sandbox. Another thing was I didn't have to sign a STM7 Overstay form which I was expecting.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully submitted their TM47 (90-day report) for a 30-day extension at Sa Kaeo immigration but mistakenly believed it was for an under-consideration visa extension. Community members clarified that the TM47 is not related to extensions and that the STM7 form is for overstays. They noted that there is no under-consideration period for tourist visa extensions and praised the efficiency of the Aranyaprathet immigration office.

I have only done the extension once before about 4 years ago but I was under the impression that all extensions now got the Under Consideration stamp first, obviously not.
Graham Seal. A tourist visa or visa-exempt extension has always been a very straightforward and speedy transaction. Some non-immigrant and covid extensions get under consideration, but never a tourist.
Have been using Aranya Prathet immigration office since I returned to Thailand in February never had a problem always efficient and professional service ๐๐
