Go onto the Goverment website it is free of charge. Took me 5 to 10 mins, when I arrived at Thailand I had a printed copy and an electronic copy on my expecting to have to show it. The immigration officer asked for neither he just checked my boarding pass and passport and let me in so I take from that it all recorded in their system.
A lot of varying stories and experiences, at the end of the day its down to your luck with the Immigration Officer you get. I come 3 or 4 times a year for 26 days on visa excemption I have sometimes been asked intended length of stay but I arrived on Sat 12th and no questions just stamped in and wished a good stay
I just googled TDAC Thailand clicked on the lunk and five minutes later with no charge had my approval. Will find out tomorrow when I arrive in swampy if I did it right lol
In over 20 yrs visiting LOS a minimum of 3 times a yr I have never been asked to show proof of cash. I think that would be a path the IO would go down if he was building a case for other reasons to refuse you entry. Same as a forwarding flight, never been asked for proof of that either.
I visit every 12weeks for a 26day period have been doing this the last 10 yrs. The last 2 times I entered I was asked why I was visiting and for length of stay. I just replied tourist and 26 days and was asked nothing else just stamped and let through
If its a UK passport and shes still in UK then she can apply for a priority service think its £207 and you make your appointment online and upload the necessary then pick it up on the day of the appointment.
Expensive option but at least you are not relying on the pist etc
