What is the correct website to apply for Thailand's ETA or TDAC without being charged?
THIM and TDAC notice
Need a clearer THIM and TDAC explanation? Read the THIM guide on thim.in.th.
What website is the one that is used to do the ETA for thailand? If it is supposed to be free. I cannot understand why I am being charged
Answer summary
The conversation clarifies that Thailand does not have an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization); instead, it uses a Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) which is free to obtain from the official Thai government website. Users have encountered charges only when accessing third-party websites. Recommendations include searching for the TDAC on Google while avoiding sponsored ads to safely access the official site.

Thailand doesn't use ETA. Are you confusing it with the TDAC?

If you're on an ETA it's a scam

When you click a site that charges you, it's usually a third party site. Looks for the Thai government site.

The first problem would be that there is no ETA for Thailand. There's a digital arrival card (TDAC).
