not true you just login to free airport wifi in BKK airport, and no phone number is needed . Yes it lasts one hour, and to takes 2 mins to submit an online submission.

Evidence flights, hotels, planned itinerary, sponsor letter (you and finance position), insurance for period.

Follow the recommendations on any of the Schengen sites.

Travel plan, travel tickets, financial resources/ sponsor evidence, Schengen insurance , evidence of job/reason to return to Thailand.

Get all docs together and present to VFS as part of application. It is easy if you follow the guidelines
